Artists

Featuring some of Dallas’ most prolific and dynamic artists, this experience celebrates the convergence of the arts and technology and provides a family-friendly and socially distanced holiday experience. Artists for 2021 will be announced on November 30th.

2020 Line-Up

Anchoring the experience will be 12 original 20' murals designed after the holiday classic "Twelve Days of Christmas," created by some of the dopest muralists in DFW. Additionally, this all-original holiday drive-through will feature original sculptural installations and engaging surprises from some of Dallas' most prolific artists and performers. As we highlight the creativity and culture of the city and bring to life a holiday celebration in an artistic, authentic, and engaging way, we're going beyond the holiday lights to bring you “a different way to holiday™."

12 Drummers Drumming

Wanted to do a character based on the wooden drummers we are traditionally used to seeing. Something from Grandma's house similar to the nutCracker. What if this guy isn't making music on one single drum but stepped forward in time. He's got that classic soul but is ready to let his true colors fly. His love for old school Hip Hop shows through as his old school shirt peeks from his more formal clothing to reveal his true vibe.

10 Lords a Leaping

I was chosen to bring the "10 leaping lords"to life. I decided to create a seasonal winter goddess with 10 crystals around her neck and the 10 leaping Lords as an electrical current arcing above her head instead of the classic iteration that we all know. Tapping into the electric universe vibe to give it a deeper meaning than just socialites ice skating. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did creating it for the citizens of Dallas! Follow @dtoxart for behind the scenes pics and videos of me creating various works of art!!!

IZK (Isaac Davies)

3 French Hens

It feels good to be painting again, just in time for the holidays amidst so much uncertainty. I chose this design because i wanted to go back to monochromatics, something I’ve always enjoyed. A classic realistic portrayal but with a flare of graf.

I’m thankful to have contributed something for public enjoyment with this piece. The number 3 has always been special to me as there are 3 davies brothers, all muralists. Happy holidays!

A Partridge in a Pear Tree
